Svenska Spel Brings NetEnt’s Romboli to lead Management Team

Sweden’s former main gambling operator, Svenska Spel, announced that it officially appointed former NetEnt chief communications officer, Anna Romboli, as its new manager.

Romboli will be in charge of Spel’s draw-based games division. She will be ing the team of this Swedish former gaming monopoly on August 12…

…and will become responsible for the Tur division.

The Tur business unit is in charge of a number of games and lottery tickets and under its name, there are also other leading Swedish brands like Lotto, Triss, and Keno.

More on the New Manager

As previously stated, Romboli s the team from NetEnt, where she worked for the past five years as a chief communications officer. She was also in charge of the launching of the supplier’s portal.

Before working at NetEnt, she spent almost seven years at Swedish design consultancy, Veryday…

…where she worked as vice president of brand and communications.

She also worked for two years as an director and brand strategist at communications and marketing agency, Edelman.

On top of that, she has been an active member of the board at Swedish operator association Branschföreningen för onlinespel (BOS) since April 2017.

“I hope to contribute to the development of customer-centric products and services, and which are attractive and competitive in the newly regulated market,” Romboli said.

“Being a part of Svenska Spel that leads the development in of gaming responsibility and actively contributes to the development of the industry is also something I look very much forward to,” she added.

Appointing Carolina Swaffer

A few days ago, Spel announced that the new role of head of agents, customer service and partner services would be appointed to Carolina Swaffer.

The new role will go into effect on June 1,and implies that she will be responsible for Spel’s work with more than 6,500 agents and partners in Sweden…

… as well as over 2.1 million customers!

“I hope among other things to contribute with my long experience of digitization, omnichannel and sales,” Swaffer commented.

She adds that she is looking forward to working with this gaming giant:
