Starlight Casino New Westminster opens its brand new Poker Room

Gateway Casinos and Entertainment has unveiled its new poker room at Starlight Casino New Westminster, Canada! The new poker room features no-limit and limit stakes options as well, as the local news report.

The poker room at the Starlight Casino features four separate tables, 7 flat-screen TVs, a plethora of stake levels, and on top of that a daily breakfast special only for poker lovers!

The New Westminster Record spoke with the casino’s General Manager, Saad Fadl-Alla about this addition to the casino’s offering. He said that many guests were looking for a poker room and after some time he decided to respond to their . The general manager also added that the entire casino is excited to offer its guests additional gaming options.

The Starlight Poker Room is now the only one in British Columbia to offer $2-3 No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em, and single blind $5 Limit Omaha.

Gateway, in celebration of the opening of new poker rooms, will host a charity poker tournament and players can choose which charity they want to .

The event will start on Thursday, October 12, at 6 PM and many players have already booked their place across from the dealer!

Among the famous names, we will single out former poker professional player Matt Jarvis, Steve Deakin who is a Canadian pickleball champion, Ruby Campbell, Musqueam Indian Band Chief Wayne Sparrow and MMA fighter Gary Mangat are just some of them. Several actors will attend the tournament as well, including Aaron Douglas, Ryan Robbins and Aleks Paunovic.

Even the New Westminster Mayor, Patrick Johnstone, promised to participate in the event to the charity tournament.

He said in an official statement, “I am excited to have been invited to Starlight Casino’s charity poker tournament in their new poker room.

“I will be ing a fantastic roster of local celebrities, all playing for charitable causes that are meaningful to them. I’m sure it will be a memorable evening.”

The poker room hours at the Starlight Casino are between 11 AM and 3 AM on Sundays through Thursdays, while on Fridays and Saturdays, the room is open 24 hours a day!

To add an extra dose of thrill to the gameplay, the casino has several special promos to poker players!
