Sportradar Extends Long-Term Partnership with DraftKings

After a month of successful sportsbook launches across the United States, DraftKings has announced the extension of long-term partnership with Sportradar, a global leader in delivering sports data to media companies, sports federations and the betting industry.

As part of the agreement, the American daily fantasy sports contest and betting provider will gain access to official sports data feeds, including Major League Baseball, National Football League and National Basketball League.

Keeping Fans Close to Action

Instant ission to data feeds and in-play wagering are becoming more popular as sports betting continues to expand throughout the United States. DraftKings is aiming to bring its fans even closer to the action by making official league data available during matches, building a trusted and -centric destination for bettors.

Neale Deeley, vice president of US sales and gaming comments:

According to Ezra Kucharz, chief business officer, the arrangement with Sportradar will provide stronger betting interaction, greater player and a chance to enter a new phase of development. He adds:

This partnership will enhance customer experience by allowing us to provide faster turnaround time on our products and give us the opportunity to develop new, innovative offerings for our players.”

Sportradar to Revolutionize Advertising

In recent months, the Swiss multinational corporation with headquarters in St. Gallen, Sportradar, has launched a programmatic ad solution for sportsbooks – ultimate full-service, data-driven marketing system providing better understanding of betting enthusiasts, sector-specific dedicated management platform (DMP), custom-built marketing technology, best-in-class content products and access to an unmatched range of digital media owners.

Among other breakthroughs is also the platform’s ability to drastically influence the evolution of sports media business by growing social, on-demand content. The company invests in sponsorships and streaming deals with pioneers of broadcasting, like Onefootball.

This partnership allows Sportradar to show matches from different leagues, including German’s knockout football cup competition DFB-Pokal and 2. Bundesliga.

As stated by Lucas von Cranach, CEO at Onefootball, modern fans of sporting events want live content in a flexible and easily accessible way.

“It’s our response to the ever-changing media landscape characterised by rights fragmentation and expensive subscription models. They want to consume it when they want, where they want and how they want – and all of this at a reasonable price,” added von Cranach.

DraftKings recently brought sportsbook action to Pennsylvania by launching its digital app within the territory, making it the seventh state in the US to authorize sports betting.

Prior to bringing daily fantasy sports to The Keystone State, the Boston-based sports betting company made its DFS products available to residents of Iowa.
