Scientific Games To Supply Delaware's Sports Betting Platform

The state of legalize sports betting and now they’ve already found the perfect partner in this.

Scientific Games (SG) will be supplying the state’s sport platform after g a lottery contract with officials.

The iGaming business company will, therefore, be ing Delaware Lottery. The state, who has expanded on to other sports after initially only offering professional football betting, will be using the supplier’s experience and expertise to help them conquer full-scale betting with industry leading sports wagering technology, content and managed services.

SG supplies more than 150 lotteries worldwide, the majority of them in North America. They develop and provide lottery instant games, video lottery gambling and games such as Keno and complex, integrated systems technologies.

Senior Vice President of Global Lottery Systems for SG, Pat McHugh, comments: “Since Delaware is known as ‘The First State’, it’s appropriate they were rst in the nation to expand regulated sports betting after the PASPA ruling. Vernon Kirk, Delaware Lottery Director said: “In anticipation of the Supreme Court’s ruling on PASPA, we have been working with Scientic Games, our longtime sports betting provider, as well as training our lottery and casino staff, so that we were ready to launch full-scale, head-to-head betting on single games.”

SG has helped Delaware Lottery grow their revenue from $10 million to $46 million since 2009.
