Spanish casino software specialist, Red Rake Gaming, who penned a deal with Interwetten back in November, is on a roll regarding the acquisition of valuable gaming licenses, paving the way for significant territorial expansion in 2019.
After successfully obtaining a license from the world’s prime operator, the United Kingdom Gambling Commission, and entering the UK market, it has been announced this week that the Valencia-based company made its break on Malta as well.
Merely weeks after a happy resolution in the UK, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has granted Red Rake with an online gaming license thanks to which their diverse gaming portfolio will make it to sites belonging to operators under Maltese jurisdiction.
A list of markets where Red Rake content is available now includes the UK, Malta, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Romania.
According to the supplier’s, Nick Barr:
“Securing the MGA license is another big step in Red Rake Gaming’s strategy and increases our capability to be able to supply the large concentration of operators located on the Island. This further solidifies our commitment and expansion on the Island after recently setting up our commercial and business development team in Malta.”
Barr continued by saying that the ICE exhibition made it clear that the notion of the company’s portfolio being in quite big demand was not without its foundations. Hence, its management expects a continuation of growing its footprint in Malta…
…during a year that is already shaping up to be one of the best for the company. He concluded by congratulating everyone who worked hard on the acquisition of licenses.
BF Games, another online casino content supplier, was also granted Malta’s license, which allows distribution of games and other software products to operators in this island country.
Wiktor Grabarczyk, the brand’s head of legal department, said that Malta is a “key region for strategic growth” and an ideal surrounding for BF’s development.
“It is exciting to now be licensed there as the country has established itself as a successful iGaming hub. The license granted by the Malta Gambling Authority acknowledges the high level of quality of our products. Now, with a range of new opportunities, we can embark on further expansion.”
Red Rake, on the other hand, was busy producing top-notch content, as they’re accustomed to – in January, they revealed Tiger and Dragon, the freshest take on a subject that is growingly popular with slot developers – Chinese mythology.
The company did end the previous year, however, with something completely different…
…making a bit of a break from slot business, they introduced a table games staple to its suite: blackjack!
Coming in seven different varieties (including Vegas Strip, Atlantic City, Fast Blackjack etc.), the blackjack is accessible via portable devices such as smartphones and tablets.

I thought they were already available there. Strange that they operate on so few markets.
