Slot specialist, Quickspin, has used an official press release to present to the world their latest technological achievement: Quickspin Challenges, a tool that should prove pioneering at least one aspect of the industry.
The Sweden-based company – game developing studio belonging to Playtech – is more than just a team of creative people coming up with entertaining gaming solutions. Their expertise goes way beyond deg video slots for real money gambling.
The 80-individuals strong collective aims to “cause a market-changing shift in quality and innovation” by integrating their own platform containing portfolio of games and tools with clients’ casinos.
The company’s official statement emphasizes the tool’s practical use as well as the addition of another level of gameplay for players…
…The customer retention tool will be made available to all operators who use Quickspin platform. Its mechanics will, no matter which Quickspin title is played, make way for an engaging and immersive mini game added to every slot. The extra level of gameplay is fueled by spins’ outcome.
Basically how it works is this:
A player needs to guide his/her character through a labyrinth in order to get to the final prize, and as the path through the maze is generated, participants unlock additional prizes.
Daniel Lindberg, the company’s CEO, is a firm believer that gamification is the future of the iGaming industry and he says that everyone at Quickspin is proud to be part of the pioneering movement.
Hinting at new developments coming in 2019 (stating that everyone should stay tuned for them), he added:
“We are absolutely delighted to launch Quickspin Challenges. We’ve designed the retention tool to offer some extra excitement with our slots, and hope that it will give our players the chance to enjoy playing Quickspin slots that extra bit more! Challenges will add an extra layer of entertainment on top of your usual gaming experience.”
The first few games to benefit from Challenges are Dwarfs Gone Wild and Goldilocks – in a little while, all Quickspin games will have this tool implemented as well.
The company has had quite a prolific year, with a dozen game releases: aside from the already mentioned Dwarves, some key titles in 2018 were Easter Emeralds and Ark of Mystery. A big milestone this year was the launch of Quickspin Tournaments.
Launched in 2011, the supplier has won multiple-awards during their short lifetime so far and is operating under numerous regulated markets thanks to obtained licenses from corresponding jurisdictions – including the most recent entry into Italy.

Cool, should be a nice addition to their games (which are always a bit of hit and miss for me).
