The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has recently unveiled the financial report for this past December. The results show 3.4% growth in gaming and fantasy revenues compared to the same timeframe in 2018. The board is entitled for regulating revenues coming from several sources including slot machines, table chances, internet gaming, retail, internet sports betting, fantasy contests and video gaming chances. The report disclosed by the authority shows that gaming revenues increased both on the land-based and online level. At the moment, Pennsylvania includes 10 stand-alone and racetrack venues together with two small gaming resorts. The state works on the construction of the 13th casino as well as on the introduction of numerous mini-casino resorts. All of them will begin operation over the next period.
PA has obvious benefits from the casino industry which is one of the reasons for the planned expansion.
