Further development regarding the construction of Japan’s integrated casino resorts suggest that Kyushu Governor’s Association has provided full to the city of Nagasaki in its bid to be one of the chosen cities for this undertaking.
The recent meeting at the city of Iki put this major Japanese settlement fully in charge of leading the efforts of developing the IR on the Kyushu island. The “unique” resolution – petition to the central government, including nine prefectures within the Greater Kyushu region – has been ed by the body.
Aforementioned parties have reached an agreement on ing Nagasaki’s efforts which will now have a major boost needed for competing with the likes of Osaka and Tokyo.
The prefectures that have signed the document include Fukuoaka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki and Kagoshima. Yamaguchi prefecture from two other southern Japanese islands Honshu and Okinawa has also plead its allegiance to this cause.
As a result of group for the Nagasaki integrated resort bid, the synergy of these prefectures was given the name of Kyushu Regional Strategy Conference group…
…and what follows is commencement of work on establishing a permanent project team which will be assisting in all efforts related for the push towards IR realization in Nagasaki.

Melco Entertainment has teamed up with Crown Resorts in a move that could significantly improve their chances of being one of the operators who will get to run a casino in Japan.
Nomura Instinet LLC has itted that Melco will become a much more attractive option for an IR license after this. In the view of Roth Capital Partners:
“We view Melco’s transition toward a fully international entertainment resort company as helpful to its stock multiple and beneficial for its competitive bid for a casino concession in Japan.”
