888 Holdings has revealed the name of their new Chief Operating Officer and it is none other than, Naama Kushnir, who has been promoted to this role from her previous positions of senior vice president and head of human resources.
Naama will be replacing the previous COO, Ital Pazner, who was appointed Chief Executive Operator in January.
Pazner, himself, wished her continued success in her new role on behalf of the entire company, while Kushnir said she is hugely excited to take on her new role.
888’s new COO has been with the company for more than eleven years…
…during which she served as a senior vice president for human resources department, to which she was appointed in September 2016. She also had a successful HR tenure at law firm, Herbert Smith Freehill, before her spell with 888.
Kushnir’s key responsibilities as a Chief Operating Officer will be developing and implementing internal processes to improve the company’s business functions. She will be reporting directly to CEO, Pazner.
Also, she will be in charge of all post-merger integration processes. Her first big challenge would be to see to the organizational restructuring following the acquisition of JPJ Group’s Mandalay bingo brands.
Her other task would be commanding the BetBright brand, following its purchase for £15 million.
Upon welcoming Naama to her new role, Pazner praised her qualities:
“Naama is a highly skilled, respected and experienced operator and I have every confidence that – alongside the rest of the operational management team – she will continue to drive 888’s growth and promote our company culture, vision and values in her new role.”
Kushnir said:
“The group has made some hugely exciting recent acquisitions, including adding a sportsbook to its proprietary technology stack for the first time. I am looking forward to working across various functions in the group to 888’s continued growth and strategic progress.”
In February, another important promotion took place within this popular betting brand…
…as Andrew Anthony, company veteran who has been with 888 for more than 15 years, was named the new Responsible Gambling Director. His line of duty will be watching over progress in responsible gaming operations and being in charge of player protection initiatives.
He will also be behind the collaborative process with regulatory bodies and stakeholder groups.
