Hard Rock International Announces Future Property Through the Acquisition of JACK Cincinnati Casino

Hard Rock International has issued a public announcement that its global gaming portfolio has been broadened due to the purchase of JACK Cincinnati Casino. The acquisition is undertaken through a collaboration with VICI Properties.

Through this t effort, Hard Rock has seized control of the casino’s operating assets and will rebrand to Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati. VICI will maintain ownership of the property’s land and real estate.

Closing of the Deal Not Before Late 2019

In lieu of realization of the purchase, the financial transaction is to be reviewed and approved by relevant regulators and…

…and it should be closed by the end of 2019, with acquisition completion to be accredited almost immediately after that.

Hard Rock international is present in over 75 countries of the world and, as chairman and CEO, Jim Allen, sees it, it has been a prime operator in Ohio since the opening in the Cleveland market in 2013.

“And now, we look forward to introducing our unique brand of casino entertainment to Cincinnati. On behalf of the 40,000 Hard Rock team worldwide, I am pleased to welcome the more than 1,000 JACK Cincinnati employees into the Hard Rock family.”

Improvements to the Property to be Made

Hard Rock’s press release did not go into details in regards to changes and improvements the company is planning to make in the venue…

…but it will certainly be a step-up from an already impressive 100,000 square-foot venue that is situated on 22 acres in Cincinnati. Currently, JACK Cincinnati Casino has 1,800 gaming machines and 100 table games.

It also contains 33,000 square-feet of meeting space, six top-notch restaurants and two bars.

Sacramento Property Draws Nearer

VICI Properties Chief Operating Officer, John Payne, commented on the occasion:

“We are proud to partner with Hard Rock, further diversifying our tenant roster with an international leader in gaming, entertainment and hospitality experiences and a renowned global platform of 245 hospitality venues across 75 countries.”

The Cincinnati venue is the second new one announced this year. Previously, in February, Hard Rock International has detailed plans for the opening of Sacramento Hotel and Casino that should happen this fall.

During the Fire Mountain ceremony, where the new facility will be located, the partnership between the company and Seminole Tribe was celebrated in the wake of what will be a venue unlike any other in California.

It will boast a gaming space of 1,800 slot machines and table games, several bars and restaurants, an outdoor pool and hotel with suites.
