A fast-growing sportsbook with headquarters in the Netherlands, Fortuna Entertainment Group, has confirmed a successful migration of its sports betting shop in Slovakia onto Playtech’s future-proof IMS (Information Management Solution) platform.
The integration represents a milestone for both the world’s largest omni-channel gambling group and gaming operator in Central and Eastern Europe, since the next stage includes an extension to the Czech Republic, Poland and Croatia.
Originally initiated in 2018, the agreement allows Fortuna customers to access sportsbooks across retail and online channels, now with Playtech’s Engagement center and high-tech tools for raising the awareness of responsible gambling.
As part of the deal, Fortuna will expand its catalog with Playtech’s award-winning software solutions, including both in-house developed slots and content as well as a humongous selection of third-party casino products. In addition, the supplier’s front-end portal framework will allow the operator to customize all content and adapt it to players’ demands with data driven customization upgrades.
The two companies partnered for the first time in 2016. Thanks to their long-term collaboration, Fortuna has become one of the leading igaming forces in Central and Eastern Europe, allowing it to launch the very first online casino in the Czech Republic.
“Our strategic partnership with Playtech is central to growth plans and success so far. This migration is the next stage in Fortuna’s omni-channel leadership in Central and Eastern Europe. Fortuna customers can now enjoy a sophisticated and seamless experience,” said Per Widerstrom, CEO at Fortuna.
Widerstrom added that Playtech’s data driven toolset also enables real time player messaging and engagement, which improves the quality of the player experience and takes responsible gambling capabilities to the next level.
Playtech chief operating officer, Shimon Akad, commented:
“Fortuna’s continued growth trajectory is highly impressive and we are proud to be a strategic partner to one of the foremost operators in Europe. This partnership firmly leverages the power of the Playtech ONE solution, both from a marketing and player tracking perspective, and we believe there is further growth ahead as Fortuna continues to extend its omni-channel leadership.”
Back in September, Playtech announced a collaboration with Swiss Casino, making it the first operator in Switzerland to launch both a Live Casino and jackpot games. The operator runs one of the country’s largest venues, Casino Zurich, which utilizes the aggregator’s top-tier technology suite.
As part of the agreement, players will be able to engage in the studio’s recently released Quantum Roulette, a variant based on a high-detail immersive environment. The game features bright visuals, realistic dealer presentations and an intense atmosphere.
Kevin Kilminster, head of innovation for live casino stated that the most recent live casino product is designed to deliver unique visuals and entertainment, as well as to provide immersive feel and hold great appeal for the modern generation of players.
