DraftKings Opens Sportsbook at Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana

DraftKings to establish an in-house sportsbook, bringing a new sports betting experience to visitors. The casino, part of a $270 million project by The Cordish Companies, is set to debut on February 13 in Bossier City.
Major Hiring Effort Ahead of Grand Opening
In preparation for the casino’s launch, a job fair was held in December to recruit employees for the venue, which is expected to generate 750 new jobs in the region. The hiring initiative aims to ensure the casino is fully staffed to accommodate guests upon opening.
The new DraftKings retail sportsbook will be located within the Sports & Social bar, an entertainment hub featuring an LED media wall, dining options, and exclusive game-day events.

Casino & Hotel Louisiana will redefine entertainment in the region by offering everything under one roof – from fine dining and live entertainment to top-tier casino games,” said John Chaszar, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana, in a press release. “With the addition of the DraftKings Sportsbook, we are elevating the experience for sports fans, connecting them to a new level of engagement across some of America’s most popular leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and more.”
Expanded Sports Betting Options
At the DraftKings Sportsbook, guests will have access to a variety of betting opportunities, including live wagers and player proposition bets across multiple professional leagues. The sportsbook aims to enhance the overall casino experience by integrating sports betting with the venue’s entertainment offerings.
