The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has chosen GeoComply, a leader in geolocation and fraud prevention, to provide critical geo-verification services for its Class II mobile gaming initiative. This new collaboration leverages GeoComply’s advanced PinPoint® technology, a tool specifically designed to ensure that gaming activities comply with regulatory standards while maintaining the security and smoothness of experiences.
As the Choctaw Nation moves toward rolling out Class II mobile gaming, the integration of GeoComply’s technology plays a vital role. PinPoint® ensures that all gaming activities are conducted within designated tribal land boundaries, providing reliable, real-time location data. The technology will be used to manage all mobile gaming operations at Choctaw tribal casinos, further solidifying the Nation’s position at the forefront of gaming innovation.
GeoComply’s VP of Business Development, Sam Basile, expressed the significance of this partnership, stating, “Class II mobile gaming will further enhance the Choctaw Nation’s position on the leading edge of innovation in the casino industry. We’re thrilled to them with our advanced geolocation services. By providing secure, compliant and -friendly technology, like PinPoint®, we’re helping the Choctaw Nation deliver an omni-channel gaming experience to their customers while safeguarding the integrity of their operations.”
The Choctaw Nation’s move to mobile gaming is not its first foray into digital platforms. This initiative, however, represents a key step toward bridging its land-based operations with the expanding world of online gaming. Patrons will be able to engage with Class II mobile gaming not only within the casino premises but also across designated areas within the tribal lands. This marks a significant evolution for the Choctaw Nation in its pursuit of offering more accessible and engaging gaming experiences for its customers.
Chris Scrivner, Executive Director of Gaming and Hospitality for the Choctaw Nation, highlighted the importance of GeoComply’s technology: “We’re excited to partner with GeoComply for our Class II mobile gaming project. Their PinPoint™ technology is a proven on-premise geofencing solution that provides us with reliability and compliance so we can offer mobile gaming to our patrons with full confidence. This initiative opens the door for us to engage our customers in new ways.”
The partnership with GeoComply is just one element of the Choctaw Nation’s broader efforts to bolster its digital gaming infrastructure. Earlier this year, the Choctaw Nation made significant strides by collaborating with White Hat Gaming, adopting its player management (PAM) system across multiple states. This system, featuring a proprietary cashier and multi-state functionalities, ensures seamless transitions for players across different jurisdictions.
Most recently, the Choctaw Nation entered into an agreement with Kambi-owned Shape Games, securing front-end development for both its sportsbook and iCasino operations. The Shape Games partnership aims to enhance customer retention and overall experience, critical elements as the Nation continues to expand its digital footprint.
The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is one of the largest Indian Nations in the United States, with more than 225,000 tribal and over 12,000 associates. Known for its long history, which includes being the first tribe to endure the Trail of Tears, the Choctaw Nation has continuously adapted to new challenges and opportunities. Today, its casinos and resorts serve as major attractions in southeastern Oklahoma, including its flagship resort near the Texas border.
This partnership with GeoComply is just the latest chapter in the Choctaw Nation’s commitment to staying at the cutting edge of the gaming industry. With the planned expansion into Class II mobile gaming, powered by GeoComply’s state-of-the-art PinPoint technology, the Choctaw Nation aims to offer a seamless, secure, and innovative experience for its patrons while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
