MGM Resorts’ GameSense Reaches Milestone of One Million Client Interactions

MGM Resorts International has plenty of excellent reasons to celebrate, as its responsible gambling program, GameSense, reached a significant landmark. Since the launch, the strategy scored one million customer interactions nationwide.

The project was done in mutual collaboration between British Columbia Lottery Corporation and MGM, which was in charge of developing and licensing. The main focus of the strategy is to have positive, transparent and proactive conversations about how to gamble responsibly.

Number One in Promoting Responsible Gambling

Developed to assist clients to make informed decisions…

… and to help keep gambling safe and interesting at the same time, the program received an acknowledgment from the National Council on Problem Gambling. The Council named MGM a leader in “raising public awareness about responsible gambling.”

The significant achievement comes just in time for responsible gambling education week. MGM Resorts is in the middle of preparations for the event which is to take place from September 16 to 20.

…to create a safer environment for gambling. In March this year, a long-time executive at MGM, Alan Feldman, was elected to be a new chairman of the Advisory Committee on Problem Gambling (AG) in the state of Nevada.

The purpose of the event is to gather various experts from the industry which should unitedly promote transparency and gaming literacy while showcasing an everyday commitment and utmost importance of responsible gaming.

During the responsible gambling education week…

…MGM is to enter an agreement with the American Gaming Association. The collaboration aims to help spread awareness and educate consumers on how to make informed and responsible decisions while playing.

Commenting on the company’s milestone, Rich Taylor, executive director of responsible gaming at MGM Resorts declared as follows:

… MGM was named “Breakthrough of the Year” by the Sports Business Journal and Sports Business Daily at the 12th annual Sports Business Awards held in May this year. The award was officially given to company’s representatives at the Sports Business Awards Ceremony in New York.

Back in April, the Resorts was named a leader in the “Travel and Leisure” industry. Then acclaim came from globally popular American business magazine Forbes, which created the ultimate list of 500 best large employers in the United States for the year 2019 in partnership with Statista, German online portal for statistics.
